Sharing your scorecard by embedding it on your own web site

Rise embedded widgets allows scorecard managers to display their scorecard's leaderboard content on your own website/blog

Once you're logged into the admin dashboard of your scorecard:

  1. Navigate to Share
  2. Choose Web Site Embed Code, Leaderboard.
  3. Select and copy the HTML code snippet to cut and paste into the HTML portion of your site or web page [this embeds it as an iframe - if you'd like to embed with javascript this option is also provided. Using Javascript is slightly preferable as it means you don't need to worry about iframe height]
  4. If you are using Tags then you can narrow your embedded leaderboard by filtering by tags
  5. You can specify whether you just want to embed the current release of the leaderboard (better for blog posts) or to have the leaderboard automatically update each time the leaderboard is released (better for web site pages)

Tip: If your web site is based on Wordpress then you can install our Wordpress plugin and use a Wordpress shortcode in your posts.

Note that if you are a developer you can also create your own custom embed theme.
