What's the difference between unstructured and structured data?

Unstructured data are any score entries collected or submitted to the Rise system.

Structured data is where those score entries have been processed and stored as a leaderboard release.

Rise data policy is to delete unstructured data after 92 days except by special arrangement. Export facilities are provided should you wish to keep unstructured data yourself.

Examples of unstructured data

  • Raw Tweets
  • Spreadsheet cell value
  • Yammer posts
  • Facebook Page Likes

Examples of structured data

  • Total tweets within the time period
  • Player rank for that leaderboard release
  • Player score for each metric
